As part of the Okoboji Foundation’s vision to create lasting stories for the community, the foundation annually hosts the Nonprofit Summit. This event provides an opportunity for area nonprofit organizations to come together to share best practices, tell tales of their impact on the Lakes Region, and develop partnerships that benefit the entire community.

Every July, our nonprofit fund partners have the opportunity to show their appreciation for the work of the Okoboji Foundation with the Nonprofit Challenge. During this month, the partner organizations encourage their contributors to consider giving to their fund housed at The Okoboji Foundation.
The nonprofit organization that generates the most donations (and exceeds $5,000) earns a $5,000 match! It is a fun competition that benefits so many organizations that call The Lakes Region home.
