Ways To:

GIVE A GIFT OF REAL ESTATE

1. Give the property directly to the Okoboji Foundation. This earns you immediate tax benefits and may qualify for the Endow Iowa tax credit. Gifts could include partial interest in real estate.

2. Make a gift through your will. As a part of your estate plan, a gift in your will or trust is a simple, flexible and versatile way to support the lakes area long after you are gone. 

3. Donate your home, farm or vacation but keep using it. Create a retained life estate to make a gift now while retaining the right to use the home for your lifetime. 

How To:

GIVE A GIFT FROM YOUR IRA

1. Contact your IRA administrator for a change of beneficiary from, or simply download on from your provider’s website.  

2. Name the Okoboji Foundation and the percentage you would like us to receive on the form. Use our taxpayer ID number, 42-6139033. 

3. Return your form to our IRA administrator. 

4. Let us know your plans so we can thank you and discuss what areas you would like your gift to support.
