Tree House Project

The Pearson Lakes Art Center Tree House Project will bring a one-of-a-kind, Treehouse Masters–inspired outdoor arts experience to the Iowa Great Lakes region through the construction of an accessible, multi-use treehouse space near the pond along the new north trail on the PLAC campus. Inspired by the creativity and craftsmanship of Nelson Treehouse and the nationally recognized television series, the project is designed to blend art, nature, imagination, and community connection. The treehouse will expand arts education and youth programming beyond traditional indoor spaces while also serving as a unique venue for community gatherings, performances, workshops, and cultural experiences. By enhancing trail connectivity and creating an immersive destination for residents and visitors alike, the project will strengthen cultural tourism, encourage outdoor engagement, and contribute to the overall quality of life in the Iowa Great Lakes area.
