As part of the Foundation’s vision to be a leader in the community, the Okoboji Foundation annually hosts the Non-profit Summit providing an opportunity for area non-profits to come together to learn from each other, partner with each other and to work together to make a difference in the quality of life in the lake’s community.

Each July the Okoboji Foundation hosts the Non-profit Challenge. The challenge is simple. Each of our non-profit fund partners is encouraged to ask their supporters to give a gift to their fund, established with the Okoboji Foundation. The non-profit fund with the highest amount of donations, totaling more than $5,000 in July, wins an additional $5,000 in their fund from the Okoboji Foundation.
